The advantages of Gecko brackets

With our three brackets you can install any type of cladding horizontally, vertically and diagonally. They are designed to create a simple and faster alignment for a supporting structure for any type of ventilated cladding that is installed floating, with or without insulation.

 

This cladding system eliminates cold bridges and is ideal for renovation applications. It can easily be installed by one person and is made of 100% recycled material.

Use the bracket calculator

    Current surface/structure*:

    Select the type of substrate to which the Gecko brackets will be attached, such as brick, concrete, or plaster. This determines the correct mounting method and prevents installation problems.

    Surface area of your project (m²)*:

    Enter the total area of your facade in square meters. This determines the exact number of Gecko brackets required.

    Area*:

    Select the region or wind speed zone of your site (e.g., urban (cat 4) vs. coastal (cat 0)). This takes local weather conditions into account for a safe construction.

    Cladding height in m*:

    Enter the total height of the facade cladding in meters, from the bottom to the top. This is important for stability and bracket distribution over the height.

    Battening*:

    Select the direction of your frame or rafters (horizontal or vertical). Usually, this is opposite the cladding, e.g., vertical for horizontal wooden siding.

    Desired mounting distance (mm)*:

    Enter the center distance at which your cladding will be attached (in mm), e.g., if you choose an HPL cladding finish, the manufacturer specifies a spacing of 450 mm.

    Insulation type*:

    Select the insulation material, such as PIR/PUR (hard), mineral wool (soft), or without insulation. This influences the choice of Gecko brackets (e.g., BG210 for soft insulation).

    Insulation thickness (mm)*:

    Enter the thickness of your insulation in millimeters, e.g., 100 mm for PIR. This is crucial for determining the correct length of fasteners.

    Weight of cladding (kg/m²)*:

    Record the weight per m² of your cladding from the manufacturer's technical data sheet. Essential for load-bearing capacity calculations.

    Beam*:

    Select the thickness of your wooden batten or aluminum profile. Compatible with Gecko brackets for secure attachment.
